      How we use your data
      We use your personal data to process and fulfil your order, communicate with you about your order including DFM review and dispatch, send order confirmations and delivery updates, verify eligibility for student or startup discounts, and send marketing emails if you have opted in.
      Our lawful basis for processing order data is contract performance — we need your data to fulfil your order.

      Marketing emails
      We send occasional marketing emails to subscribers who have explicitly opted in. These may include updates about new services, discount codes, and engineering content. We use Mailchimp to manage our mailing list.
      You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by contacting us via our contact page. Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not affect your order-related communications.
      
        Important: We never send marketing emails without your explicit consent. Your order email is used only for order communications unless you separately opt in.

      Design file retention
      Design files you upload at checkout are retained for 30 days after confirmed delivery of your order, then permanently deleted. We do not use your design files for any purpose other than fulfilling your order and resolving disputes. We do not share your design files with third parties under any circumstances.

      Who we share data with
      We share your data only where necessary to fulfil your order:
      
        Delivery couriers — your name and delivery address to complete delivery
        Payment processors — Square or WooCommerce Payments process your payment under their own privacy policies
        Mailchimp — if you opt in to marketing, your email is stored on Mailchimp's platform
